The Outlander Platinum Edition tops the lineup, featuring a distinctive Black Diamond/Alloy Silver two-tone paint scheme, light grey interior, satin hood emblem, and more. This edition comes standard with Mitsubishi's Super All-wheel Control (S-AWC), a power panoramic sunroof, and a 10.8-inch Head-Up Display.

Mitsubishi Motors has always taken customer feedback seriously, and in response to demand for a blacked-out version of the Outlander, the Black Edition package has been introduced. Available for both the SE and SEL trims, this package includes black wheels, door handles, and mirror trims. The SEL Black Edition adds black Dynamic Shield accents around the grille, black chrome window trim, black roof rails, and black semi-aniline premium leather-appointed seating surfaces.

The Outlander was crafted under a design theme reflecting "authentic and majestic." The vehicle's bold proportions, muscular fenders, and sharp lines showcase Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield grille. 18-inch alloy wheels come standard on entry-level ES models, while 20-inch wheels are available on higher trims, giving the vehicle a robust presence that emphasizes strength and security.

Inside, the Outlander prioritizes comfort and convenience with high-quality materials. Its semi-aniline leather and contrasting stitching could easily be mistaken for luxury vehicle interiors. As the flagship of Mitsubishi's lineup, the Outlander combines premium amenities with the value the brand is known for.

Technologically, the Outlander offers more connectivity and tech features than any previous model. Available is a 12.3-inch full-color LCD digital driver display (standard on SE with Technology Package and above). All models come with Apple CarPlay® (wireless on SE and above) and Android Auto™ (wired). Select trims also include a 9-inch center touchscreen with built-in navigation, SiriusXM®, wireless smartphone charging, Mitsubishi Connect, and a 10-speaker BOSE® audio system.

The Outlander is powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder inline gasoline engine paired with a simulated eight-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). It delivers an EPA fuel economy of 24/31/27 for 2WD models and 24/30/26 for AWD models. Mitsubishi’s S-AWC all-wheel-drive system provides six drive modes, enabling optimal traction across various road conditions. This system also comes with headlight washers and a front wiper de-icer.

Every Outlander in the USA is backed by Mitsubishi Motors Confidence, one of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry. This includes a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, a five-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, a seven-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion warranty, and five years of unlimited roadside assistance.

The Price of the Mitsubishi Outlander starts at $28,395 in the USA. In Germany, the entry-level Outlander PHEV is priced at €49,990 and comes with a five-year warranty covering 100,000 kilometers.
