The power of Imaicho in Nara, one of Japan's largest areas for the preservation of important traditional buildings, is amazing! I'm sure there are many fans of retro towns, but if you haven't visited Imaicho yet, I recommend it. Hida Takayama and Yamauchi-juku in Fukushima are popular tourist destinations nationwide, and Imaicho is no less impressive, so first-time visitors will surely be impressed.
