Over the last couple years, I’ve had a growing feeling that teaching carpentry exclusively through YouTube videos is not the most effective way of doing my job...So, I’m starting something new!

As of summer 2023, I’ll begin offering online video courses through my own website, thehonestcarpenter.com!

The website still needs a serious overhaul, and I’m in the process now of developing my first online video courses. BUT I know that this will be the ultimate way to teach carpentry, construction techniques, trades knowledge, tool knowledge, and even elements of contracting and building code.

YouTube is an extraordinary platform, which contains an outrageously diverse range of topics...and it’s FREE FOR EVERYBODY. But the presence of the algorithm requires that content creators spend a lot of time thinking of ways to get videos to simply perform well.

Through my own online courses, I’ll be able to teach you carpentry in THE WAY I KNOW IT SHOULD BE TAUGHT! I can be far more thorough, and explore the appropriate topics without worrying about how the algorithm will handle them.

So, if you’ve ever REALLY wanted to learn about carpentry and construction, just hold tight. Soon you’ll have great video courses explaining everything from the bottom up, giving you total insight into how things should be done.
