Dell XPS 15 9510 for Photographers and Content Creators

In this review video I show you my photo and video editing setup, which mainly consists of a Dell XPS 9510 laptop now. I purchased it a few weeks ago and I put it to a test, editing photos and video on it - basically using it for all the work I do.

In this review I tell you what I like about the Dell XPS and also what was nearly the deal breaker for me. Because what I hand't heard of in any other review of this device was that the screen actually shows an extreme vignette. This makes it nearly unusable for creative tasks - but only nearly. Since everything else about this device works for me, I decided to keep it, but I want to make sure that others are aware of this major caveat of the Full-HD display that comes with the Dell XPS 15.

Also note that this doesn't seem to be just a singular problem. I already had the previous version of the Dell XPS, the 9500, for a couple of weeks last year and I had the exact same problem. Back then I even got the display exchanged and even the new display had the problem. So 3 out of 3 displays had this problem for me. Either call it very bad luck or call it bad quality control from Dell.

Aside from talking about the pros and cons of the Dell XPS 9510, I also show you some important settings you need to make to be able to use this device for content creation.
