I participated in the 2025 Iwakuni Friendship Day. I looked up last year's footage and advice from people who had been there online before heading out, and it was a great decision! If you go there without knowing anything and just go casually, you'll be in for a treat.

The family I saw on the bus seemed to have split up into two groups, one taking the shuttle bus and one on foot, but the father's team, who were on foot, contacted me by cell phone because it was so rough, and they left without going in.
