Starting this time, we will be doing a special edition on Yokosuka and the Miura area.
First up is Oppama. Before the war, it was a town with a strong naval influence, but now modern factories have been built along the waterfront, and the area around the station and along National Route 16 have developed into commercial and residential areas. There are also plans for redevelopment around the station in the near future.
