If you like Metroidvanias and Soulslikes, get this, it's like a mix of Salt and Sanctuary with Blasphemous. Tight controls and better graphics. Maybe I would like a bit more variety in the weapons you get, but it's still too fun to let down. I got it last week and it's the only game I've been playing after I got stuck in Khazan's Maluca. I am already past most places in the game, it's very good, try the demo, if you like it, get it, it only gets better after getting leveled up and unlocking more diagrams as the story goes on. Also, it has very nice environments. Catacombs, sewers, forests, spooky castles and eerily deserted villages, etc. For me it is easily an 8/10. I don't get what is wrong with IGN sometimes, it's like their reviews are hit or miss.

i finished the game with a lvl88 spellbinder, high power and knowledge, medium vigor and cons, can equip heavy equipment less than 100% weight, with a few fire talents, and uses mace+relic, splinter and wisp skill spam while using melee, emphasizing on weakness and burn effects

i highly recommend this game to metroidvania and souls fan, you wont be disappointed.

This is definitely a bad review. Game is great, 6 is a travesty! There’s a demo I think so make sure you try it yourself
