'Sex Machine' by James Brown & The JB's live at the North Sea Jazz Festival on 11 July 1981, held in the Congress center in The Hague, the Netherlands.

"Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine" is a song recorded by James Brown with Bobby Byrd on backing vocals. Released as a two-part single in 1970, it was a no. 2 R&B hit and reached no. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2004, "Sex Machine" was ranked number 326 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. In the 2021 update of the list it had risen to 196.James Brown was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and bandleader. He was the creator of funk music and a major figure of 20th century popular music and dance. He is known as the ""Godfather of Soul”.
In a career that spanned six decades, he influenced the development of several music genres.
In 1981 he performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival with his band.
