"Les schtroumpfs" (The Smurfs) is an American-Belgian animated television series in 303 episodes with the addition of 124 26-minute segments adapted by Hanna-Barbera Studios from characters imagined by Peyo and broadcast between September 1, 1981 and December 2, 1989 on the NBC network.

They are 102 and nest in mushrooms in a forest. Very fond of sarsaparilla, they all look alike but have different jobs or specialties. When they speak, they replace most nouns with "smurf" and verbs with "smurf". These tiny blue creatures are called Smurfs.

Only Papa Smurf, the village chief, and Smurfette are distinguished. Papa Smurf is recognizable by his white beard and red hat and pants. In the absence of the latter, all Smurfs want to be the chief and it must be noted that it is the discord each time. The Smurfette is easily recognized by her blond hair. Being the only girl in the village, she is the cause of discord and jealousy among the Smurfs.

Their greatest enemies are the sorcerer Gargamel and his red cat Azrael, who would like to put them on his menu.

I tried something different again. I didn't like the sound produced by all the VSTs and midi files so this time I recorded directly from my real Seiler upright piano rather than from my little Thomann keyboard.

The advantage is that you really hear what I play and not a computer created sound, the disadvantage is for the "piano-roll", I obviously can't record a midi file on such a piano. So I exported the score as a midi file and then tried to synchronize the "piano-roll" with the video. So don't be surprised if you see a discrepancy between what is played and the notes that are indicated... A time lag, or if the notes are much longer on the piano roll than what I actually play...
