I had SO much fun making this wearable art jacket! In this diy video we will be creating a beautiful whimsical jacket from an old thrift store pajama top. I will show you in great detail how you can create your own. This creation was born from the need to have a road trip project that I could work on during our one month RV trip to Florida. Majority of this is hand stitched with embroidery thread, I used the sewing machine on some parts, but I show alternatives if you don't have a sewing machine. I'm going to just give a list here of many of the technique we will be doing: adding larger sleeves, making pockets, patchwork with vintage fabrics, cuffs, appliques, dying with Rit pink dye, whip stitching with embroidery thread, fabric lettering, tea staining and so much more! In addition, I take you along and film on the rv, campgrounds, antique mall and more. Enjoy!
