見にきてくれてありがとうございます。
このMusic Videoは紛れもなくアート作品であると思うのですが。。。
現在、アートとアイドルは対極にある存在だと思います。
そのことに反対でも、提案でも、警鐘でもなく、ただみんなはどう思うか耳を傾けるような楽曲です。

昨今パフォーマンスとしての芸術であるバレエや歌舞伎、また物体としての芸術作品を展示している美術館など、アートに触れる場に足を運ぶ人が少なくなり、各界では伝統を継承しつつも形を変えたり現在の大衆が受け取りやすいような工夫がなされています。
では現在と過去でその大衆の周りにはどのような変化があったのか。
それは情報のスピード、そしてそれに対する興奮の有無だと思います。

僕は最近TikTokを始めたのですが、そのスピードは本当に楽しく、そして恐ろしくもあります。僕自身もかなり肯定的にドーパミンを出しながら楽しんでいますから、もちろんそれらを否定するわけではないです。
ただ情報のスピードが今より遅かった時代、先人たちはどのようにエンターテイメントを楽しんでいたか、平成生まれの僕が勝手に考察するとすれば、やはり与えられたものに対して自分の世界だけで咀嚼する、想像することに楽しみを感じていたのだと思います。

時代が変わったからそれは過去のことだと言いたいところですが、そのようにして育っていった様々な芸術が今も尚存在しているということは、それらに興奮することが僕たちのDNAに刻まれているということを僕は信じたいんです。

そんな楽しみ方が自分ももっとできるんじゃないか、せっかくアイドルとしてみんなに出会えたのだから僕もその楽しみ方を伝えられるような人になりたいなと思いました。

トレンドの外にも快楽はたくさんあります^_^

すぐに届く短く楽しげな情報と咀嚼回数の多いアート作品、偏らずどちらも更に繁栄していく可能性はまだまだ残っているのではないでしょうか。

話は戻りますが、もしそうなった場合にアイドルとアートは本当に対極になるのですかね？
日本のアイドル文化の始まりから考えるとそうかもしれませんが、時代の枠を越えた"概念としてのアイドル"にはゴッホやピカソも当てはまる気がしてきました。

流石に大袈裟すぎますが、両者の橋渡し(もっといい日本語が思いつかずすみません)的な映像作品だと受け取ってもらえれば幸いです！

Although I think it’s clearly a work of art… currently, I see art and idols as being polar opposites. This song isn’t a critique, a suggestion, or even a warning—it simply invites people to share their thoughts.

Fewer people these days visit places where they can experience art, whether that’s performance art like ballet and kabuki, or places like museums which exhibit artwork in tangible forms. While traditions are still being preserved, there are efforts in each field to adapt them and make them more accessible to the current public.

So, how has the environment surrounding the public changed between the past and present? I think it all comes down to the speed of information and the presence, or absence, of excitement towards it.

I recently started using TikTok, and the speed of it is both exhilarating and a bit frightening. I personally enjoy it and get a nice dopamine rush from using it, which I certainly can’t deny. But as someone born in the Heisei era, allow me to speculate how our ancestors consumed entertainment in an age when information was much slower. I believe they found enjoyment in digesting and imagining what was presented to them within their own worlds themselves. As much as I’d like to say times have changed and that’s all a thing of the past, various art forms nurtured in this way still exist to this very day. I’d like to believe that means it’s in our DNA to find excitement in those things.

I figured I might enjoy things more that way myself, and since I have the opportunity to engage with you all as an idol, I’d like to be someone who can convey how to enjoy things that way as well.

There’s plenty of enjoyment to be had outside of trends ^_^

Short, fun information that’s delivered quickly, and artwork that requires deeper contemplation—both have the potential to flourish further without leaning more heavily towards one or the other.

Back to my point: if that were to happen, would idols and art really be polar opposites? They might when you consider how Japanese idol culture began, but I’m starting to think Van Gogh and Picasso could also be classified as "idols as concepts” that transcend the boundaries of time.

It might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I hope you see this video as a bridge (sorry I can’t think of a better term) between the two!
