Research has shown that listening to soothing night time nature sounds such as crickets chirping at night, can not only help us sleep, they can also be beneficial to our mental health and well-being. These relaxing nocturnal sounds can be used as a natural recovery aid from the psychological stress caused by everyday living and provides us with a protective sound cocoon to drown out unwanted noise when we need to relax and sleep.
