Liverpool arrive in Singapore to begin pre-season tour

Liverpool arrived at their hotel in Singapore on Friday as they resumed their pre-season preparations.

Prior to the Merseyside club's departure to Southeast Asia, reports confirmed of their captain Jordan Henderson leaving to join Saudi Arabia's Al Ettifaq.

Fabinho was also left out of the travelling squad as talks resumed with another Saudi club, Al Ittihad. Roberto Firmino had already joined Al Ahli, another Saudi outfit on free transfer.

Liverpool will face Leicester City on Sunday before taking on Germany's Bayern Munich on 2nd August.
