How to invest in mutual funds | etfs | stocks

In this video we go through a high level overview on how to investment in the stock market and make your money work for you. To invest in the stock market a IRA account or investment brokerage account is required. My personal favorite is Fidelity Investments as their platform offers a lot of great research tools. Then you will have to decide what type of investments you want to make. There are a variety of choices which can make it difficult to choose, so you want to carefully consider which investment type is right for you. Mutual Funds are great for busy working professionals and have families who don't have a lot of time to spend on there investments. Mutual funds are diversified baskets of various investment that can include stocks and bonds. ETFs which stand for exchange traded funds are also diversified baskets of stocks or bonds but are not actively managed. ETFs require a bit more research than mutual funds but are still relatively easy choices for investing beginners due to the instant diversification you get. Stocks are the most complicated as require a lot more research in sector and industry as well as business research on company performance, management team, business strategy, and market competitors.
