A rare cab ride video of Jungfraubahn - between Jungfraujoch and Kleine Scheidegg, Switzerland | 4K

In this rare and special train video of Switzerland, we present the driver view of the Jungfrau railway's journey between 'Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe' and Kleine Scheidegg mountain stations. It is a 9 kms (5.6 mi) long journey between Jungfraujoch and Kleine Scheidegg stations, with an altitude difference of about 1.4 kms (0.86 mi). Jungfrau railway uses a 1000 mm metre gauge track and a Strub rack system. Out of 9 kms (5.6 mi) journey, the 7 kms (4.3 mi) long track runs steeply through the tunnel inside the mountains - Eiger and Mönch, and has been one of the most ambitious projects of Switzerland. Construction on this ambitious project was started in 1896 and the Jungfraujoch station was inaugurated in 1912.
For over 100 years, Jungfraujoch mountain station has remained the highest altitude train station in Europe.
