Now it is easy to get close enough to birds for photography. This lens has incredible pulling power.

The 150-600mm OM lens just keeps zooming in for ever. I have never used a lens that has such a massive zoom range. Start off with a bird very small in the frame and zoom in to get close up head shots.

It is on the heavy side for MFT cameras, but if you can manage the weight it gets you pictures not available to you before. Optically it is so close to the more expensive 150-400mm that it is hard to see the difference. You need to stare at the images side by side to see the slight difference.

It is very much on a par with the 100-400mm lens.

I go to Brine Pits Farm to use their hides to test the lens out.
