The face of perseverance she never lost hope!
Dolores lost her family, her home, her babies and still she fought to live. The decks were stacked against her. Black pittie mixes almost never make it out of the shelter alive. But we saw her with the help of one former shelter worker who advocated until her story was seen. Dolores had a guardian angel that day and was given the chance to live once again.

She’s the type of dog who inspires us and we hope her story will inspire you too. With her strong will to live Dolores has thrived at our rescue ranch but after 266 days she has yet to find her forever home. We know her breed mix and dark coat hold her back but if people just looked and saw the dog beyond those things they’d see what an incredible soul she is. Shes a soul who will give until her last breath and love with her entire heart. Shes a soul who has seen the very worst and is ready to live the very best. She wants the things a rescue will never be able to provide so we’ve promised to find her the perfect family who will.
