3:46 Miles in fear and panicking actually looks down to where Peter is and calls out for his help as Miguel berates him. A small detail I missed a couple of times rewatching this amazing movie.
2:00- Keep in mind, Miguel doesn’t stick to things. He has claws.
And on a high speed space train, where everyone else can barely move, the man is practically flying.
All on his own strength.
4:31
Miguel’s line “You’re just a kid that has no idea what he’s doing” is interesting — that’s fair to describe most versions of Spider-Man when they first got their powers: most were kids that had no idea what they were doing until their “canon events” (ex. Uncle Ben) happened
8:24 I wanna talk about this moment. She had the chance. She didn't abort the machine. And gave him a look. How did he knew she's won't be aborting because he wouldn't have pulled down the mask?
4:47 - the music, the realisation that Miles isn't just running scared, that everyone's been underestimating him - Miguel trying to pull away but Miles keeping him there, the amount of self-confidence and determination then the quiet "Nah... Imma do my own thing..."
I will tear up with pride for this character every single time.
As serious and intense as this scene is, the “SNITCH!” gets me every time.
Miguel's role in the movie was so well-done. His near-bursting rage throughout the movie kept me at the edge of my seat, and there were a lot of times where I actually feared for Miles because I genuinely thought Miguel was gonna lose it and shred him apart.
“We are supposed to be the good guys” is a COLD ASS LINE
4:52 I love the proud reaction Peter had here and Miles' smile after baiting Miguel and everyone else
I’ve seen people ask why Miguel just let Miles charge up his venom blast.
but there was nothing Miguel can do, remember his suit is completely nano tech, so miles’ electricity nullified it and Miguel couldn’t move. If you look closely you can see him trying to budge his arms but the suit was completely frozen
“You don’t belong here, you never did”
Gotta feel for miles in that moment, he’s spent this whole movie searching for acceptance from these people who he aspires to be like, only to be rejected by them in the most harsh way possible.
0:23 the baby saying “uh oh” when they got Peter’s location…just noticed that
3:46 we really not gonna talk about him calling and reaching for peter like he's asking for help. Even with all thats going on he still looks up to him and relies on him and it hurts that peter couldn't help him here
4:03 I seriously love how distant the score becomes. Almost as if Miles realizes he doesn’t just gotta peace out.
He’s also gotta distance himself from his “friends”.
"we are supposed to be the good guys" damn that line destroyed every single spider person in the room, specially Miguel, him repeating "we are!!" really drives home that even he isn't sure he's doing the right thing anymore.
Idk if i am the only one that saw it but at 3:07 when he glitched for a mil second it showed him in that suit he bought from stan lee in the first movie very cool👍
"Good things happen too, like you" hits so damn hard once you learn about the original anomaly.
Everyone already knows this, but won't get tired of saying it, this movie is brilliant.
the passion behind the "your a mistake" then that chokeslam afterwards is just brutal
The scene really hit me when Miguel shouted to Miles: "You're a MISTAKE", it's the most horrible thing anyone has ever seen can say, knocking down his defense of Miles about who is himself and it hurts me more when Miles says: "No, you're lying, I'm Spiderman".. it really was a great physical and emotional beating that Miguel gave him, and he was almost without any help. and Peter and Gwen were barely able to intervene, because they already knew and believed they were trying to convince him not to interfere with his "canonical event" for his own good.
5:31 that "Bye, Gwen" hurt me, because Miles said it believing this is the last time they see each other, since he thought that after returning to his world, he would no longer have anything to do with the Multiverse.
9:57I thought it was very cruel how Miguel sent Gwen back home with the same machine they used to send villains back to their worlds, plus she was resisting, I guess because she wouldn't want them to continue chasing Miles and that "We were supossed to be the good guys" shocked me
3:55 - “I am so lonely..all the other vilrumites are scared of me”
