That last scene with Mumei distracting Bae with the paper airplane so she wouldn't have to see her go, along with "A New Start" suddenly playing made me tear up.
The fact that Mumei could read Anya's stone tablet language just shows she really lived through all the civilization.
Love that continuity.
This was a lovely send-off for Mumei as she begins "A New Start". Thanks for all the memories Mumei!
Right now, "A new start" hits me the same way "I really want to stay at your house" does…..

This is the first HoloGra that made me cry. I feel like we've lost a huge part of HoloEN. I’ve been following Mumei since the very beginning, and it’s clear how much she loves Hololive. It’s truly heartbreaking to see her go. We’ll miss her so much.
Having "A New Start" playing at the end has the same energy as last episode of anime using first opening as ending. Not only is a true classic move but somehow the idea that it is NOT the end but a new beginning hits different
