Honestly, the guy survived Hell before the upgrades. What in the world made the Maykr's think that CONTROLLING someone like that was a good idea? I'm 90% certain Doom Guy was terrifying Demons before he made it to Argent D'Nur, so to me it sounds like pissing off the Doom Slayer would be exceedingly hazardous to ones health.

So weird how Maykrs in this game bleed so profusely. In Eternal they didn't drop a single drop of blood, whether it was a simple Drone or Khan Maykr herself, as it was implied that Maykrs are bionic in nature. But in TDA they are apparently all flesh.

I like to think those worms on him were the physical manifestation of Kreed's sin, or betrayal, or whatever, that by shooting them Doomguy was actually freeing Kreed of them, and that that last "I can take you to her" an honest attempt to help — but that Doomguy killed him anyway because, let's be frank, would YOU trust this guy after all the shit he's put you through?
