My dad loved this kind of music, he was a fan of Cool & the Gang, Parliament and others, he committed suicide on 2022. I came to this video by chance... and it reminds me of him.

I can only imagine What it was like being alive in the 70s when entire genres of music were being created. Disco, modern rocknroll, Hip hop, etc.. The 70s has the best catalog of music ever… by far the best decade for music ever

I love all of these songs. I'm a 70s baby and can remember vividly sitting in between my mom and dad listening to dad's 8 track takes. Mom would wear bell bottoms and clip her bangs back with those little plastic barettes. I can remember being 3 years old. How far back can you all remember of when you were a kid.? I remember going to the drive-in with my parents to see GREASE and I was dancing and playing underneath the big screen....good memories as a kid!

In the late 60’s my Dad’s 1965 Dodge Dart got hit in the rear and I was toddler standing up in the front seat. I fell forward busted my eye on the metal ashtray. I asked my Dad why he did not catch me. He said he had to keep his beer from spilling. I still have the scar above my right eye today.

We heard the song "Kiss I Was Made" for the first time with my friend in a patisserie in Istanbul in 1982. At that time, my friend's father had a '72 Cadillac and we would buy cassette tapes and listen to it in the car. Those were good times. May God put you in paradise my child, I miss those beautiful days.

In our college dorm, almost everyone had this album in the late 70's. Supertramp, breakfast in America, Journey, Fleetwood Mac-rumors and the Stranger by Billy Joel. Such great music!

Fun memory. My dad was an early retired cop but he still managed to get my two closest brothers, and myself as I passed for under 5, to see Saturday Night Fever 🎉. I was 10 ? Drive in theatre
